On Sunday morning our daughter, Cassidy Ann was baptised into the Christian faith at Covenant CRC by our Pastor, Curt Walters. What a blessing it is to bring your children before the the Lord and make a covenant promise to bring them up in the way of Christ. It is an even greater feeling to know that our Family, Friends and Church congregation stand in community with us making such a great promise. Matt and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for both of our children as they grow up in the knowledge of Christ. It is our prayer that both of them one day will accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. Baptismal Prayer
Almighty God, who by our baptism into the death and resurrection of thy Son Jesus Christ dost turn us from the old life of sin: Grant that we, being reborn to new life in him, may live in righteousness and holiness all our days; through the same thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
